09:00-13:00 During panoramic city tour we will show you Kiev the capital of Ukraine and the cradle of Eastern Slavonic states of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. It is a beautiful city with its centuries-old history and rich culture. The tour includes visit to Vladimir’s Cathedral the most prominent sacral painting complex of the late XIX c. decorated by world well-known artists. You will examine magnificent mosaics and frescoes of St. Sophia Cathedral the oldest temple in the Eastern Slavonic states built in the beginning of XI c. to glorify the victory of Prince Yaroslav the Wise over Pechenegs’ tribes. The tour continues to St. Andrew’s Church a striking piece of baroque architecture of XVIII c. built according to the designs of well-known architect B.Rastrelli on the top of Vladimir’s Hill. Andriivskyi Uzviz (Descent) that starts from St.Andrew’s Church will impress you with its unique atmosphere. It is a short street meandering down through luxuriant vegetation of Vladimir’s Hill to the picturesque Podil. Numerous art galleries and shops of folk and applied art make this romantic street the cultural center of Kiev.

14:30-16:30 Visit to the National Museum of World War II. The major exposition is located in 14 rooms covering the area of 5,000 square meters and includes more than 12,000 exhibits. The documents of military commanders and rank-and-file participants of the war; valuable collections of orders, medals and arms; unique things and documents of Nazi-occupation and liberation period attract the attention of numerous visitors of the Memorial. On the territory of the museum there is a large exposition of military equipment of Soviet epoch.

DAY 3 - KIEV

08:00-09:30 Breakfast at the hotel.
09:30-13:00 Tour to the National Kiev-Pechersk Caves’ Monastery Historical and Cultural Reserve. The monastery was set up in the mid XI century A.D. It is one of the most ancient monasteries on the territory of Eastern Slavonic states. During this tour you will visit underground labyrinths of caves with mummies of monks, Museum of Treasures displaying the rich Scythian Gold collection and collection of the Judaic ritual silver objects XVIII - XX centuries, Museum of Microminiature. The reserve is situated on the picturesque hills and from the sightseeing place of Bell Tower you will have opportunity to delight the view over the gold-domed monastery complex and marvelous banks of Dnipro river.
13:00-14:30 Lunch at a local restaurant.
14:30-17:00 After lunch visit to the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life situated in the picturesque suburb of Kiev Pirogovo. It is one of the largest museums under open air in the world that covers about 159 hectares and contains more than 300 unique buildings of folk architecture XVI – XX c. churches, houses, household constructions and workshops filled with household utensils, working instruments, clothes, works of folk art. The collection of the reserve amounts to 80,000 objects. The real atmosphere of Ukrainian village with the customs and traditions of different regions of the country and the beauty and verity of Ukrainian nature will give you a short escape from urban tension.
17:00-19:00 Dinner at the Ukrainian restaurant in Pirogovo. Transfer to the hotel.

DAY 4 - SIMFEROPOL - BAHCHISARAY - YALTA

06:00-06:30 Breakfast at the hotel. Check out followed by transfer to the airport for flight to Simferopol. Boxed breakfast.
07:30-09:50 Flight to Simferopol.
09:50-14:30 Meeting at the airport in Simferopol. Transfer to Bakhchisaray the former residence of Crimean Khans that preserved atmosphere of Medieval Tatars’ settlement. You will visit the Khan’s Palace of the XVI – XVIII centuries created by Italian, Iranian, Turkish, Ukrainian and Russian masters. The history of this palace is closely connected with fantastic fairy tales and legends. You will find there true coevals of that epoch such as Alevis’ Portal, the Fountain of Tears, mausoleums and mosques and examine pieces of domestic life and folk art of Crimean Tatars displayed at the expositions. Transfer to Yalta.
14:30-15:30 Lunch at a local restaurant.
15:30-18:00 Check in at the hotel. Free time.
18:00 Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 5 - YALTA

08:00-10:00 Breakfast at the hotel.
10:00-13:00 Panoramic city tour of Yalta the popular tourist center and a beautiful city spreading along the south coast of Crimea as a large antique amphitheater backgrounded by marvelous mountains. Here one almost tastes the brinish air and fragrance of native-grasses. The tour includes visit to the Livadia Palace the summer residence of the last Russian Tsar Nicholas II. The complex attracts attention not only by the elegant white palace built in Italian Renaissance style with the Byzantine, Arab and Gothic elements but also by magnificent park the most beautiful and the oldest on the south coast of Crimea created by the masters of the garden and park architecture. The history of the palace is marked by an important event that occurred in the end of the W.W.II. The leaders of three anti-Hitlers coalition member states the USSR, the USA and Great Britain met in the Livadia Palace in February 1945 during the Yalta conference to discuss post-war politics.
14:00-15:00 Lunch at a local restaurant.
15:00-18:00 A photo-stop at the Swallow Nest. This small grace Gothic-styled castle on the edge of picturesque cliff looking over the navy-blue sea is the symbol of Crimea. The tour follows to the Vorontsov’s Palace. The palace with its Upper and Lower parks is complemented by picturesque landscape areas covering 40 hectares. It was constructed for the Count M.Vorontsov. The architecture of its facades, luxurious interior settings demonstrate a talented synthesis of Late English Gothic and Moorish styles. There are about 150 rooms in the palace decorated by English, French and Russian masters. The fascinating park is in harmony with the palace, dramatic Ay-Petri mount and the sea. The tour ends with tasting of the best collection of Massandra wines.
18:30-20:00 Dinner at a local restaurant. Transfer to the hotel.

DAY 6 - YALTA - SEBASTOPOL – YALTA

08:00–09:00 Breakfast at the hotel.
09:30-13:30 During this day you will visit the former secret area and the large south port Sebastopol. Numerous picturesque bays not only attract a lot of tourists but also in one’s time had influence on the destiny of the city and made it a defender of south board of the country. The translation from Greek – “city of Glory”. Two heroic defenses due to which Sebastopol had become world-renown are shown in the Museum of Heroic Defence and Liberation of Sebastopol. One of the exhibits is the fragments of the Diorama painting 1905 a round scenic canvas 115 mrs long and 14 mrs high with forefront imitating the battle on the Malakhov Kurgan (Hill) during the Crimean War 1854-1856. In the Panorama you will see the picture 25,5 mrs long and 5,5 mrs high with forefront 83 mrs cubic depicting events of World War II.

14:30 - 19:30 The tour continues to Chersonesos an ancient city settled by Greek colonists in V century B.C. on the Black Sea cost. As the history says the offspring of Heracl were looking there for new territories. According to another version Odyssey is regarded to be a pioneer that discovered those lands. There you will see the remnants of antique fortifications, the main gates of the ancient city, antique theatre and fragments of antique mosaics. Among the archeological finds are objects of exceptional value: the oath of the Chersonesos citizens, decrees, wall paintings, slate icons from the Christian churches, numerous house utilities. Transfer to Yalta.
19:30–20:30 Dinner at a local restaurant. Transfer to the hotel.

DAY 7 - YALTA - SIMFEROPOL
